Match report A comfortable win for Bury on Saturday - lifting them to mid table in the Division. Bury won the toss and invited West Herts to bat. The new ball was shared by Gareth George and Tom Cowell - both of who acquitted themselves well. george in particular proved hard to get away and finished with a tidy 1/10 from 7 overs.

Ruskin and Rider joined the fray early and soon began to apply pressure on the batting side, the run rate falling to under three an over. As the batsmen attempted to up the rate wickets began to fall Only Hodges (49) was able to score freely. Ruskin finished with 6/62 and Rider 3/47 - having bowled over 40 overs between them.

Bury lost an early wicket in their reply but then Gareth George (48) and Dan Gronert (43) put together a partnership of over 90 at nearly a run a ball to take the game away from West Herts. Bury duly got home by five wickets with 18 overs to spare.
